FASST Times 10/14/21 – 2 items (Nov. Stroke Clinics and TAAF Winter Games of Texas)

November “STROKE CLINCS” begin on THURSDAY, OCTOBER 28.

1. November Stroke Clinics and Semi Private Lessons begin on Thursday, October 28th at the (FAC), Frisco Athletic Center, 5828 Nancy Jane Ln, Frisco 75035 TX, off of Preston Rd. All sessions are full, except the Session 3 in the evenings from 8:25 PM – 9:00 PM (there is 5 openings).

Semi Private Lessons we don’t get to do this often, so take advantage of this, it is indoors at the FAC. We are offering semi private lessons from 4:00 PM – 4:10 PM and from 4:10 PM – 4:20 PM. The coaches are Coach Eubanks, one of the best coaches in the State of Texas, FISD named their pool after him, Also Coach Caroline, she was all state high school swimmer for Wakeland High School. You do not have to be in stroke clinics to do the SEMI-PRIVATE LESSONS, work on something you need to work on (strokes, or turns, etc)

Semi Private Lessons – these are filling up very FASST. They will be on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4:00 – 4:10 PM and 4:!0 – 4:20 PM. $10 per kid, each Coach will have 2 kids per lesson. We will have the following guidelines: wear a mask, and get your temperature checked, no parents allowed at the pool. We will be safe, we will have fun and we will learn the strokes.

Equipment required (goggles, fins, kick board)- If you need to order equipment from us, you must order online on or before 5:00 PM, Wednesday, October 20th . To order please go to this site and let us know what to bring. We will bring the equipment on the 1st night, Thursday, October 28. Ages 5-9 (Session 1) Tue/Thur from 4:25 PM – 5:00 PM – MUST CHECK IN AT 4:15 PM

Ages 10-17 (Session 2) – Tue/Thur 8:00 PM – 8:35 PM – MUST CHECK IN AT 7:50 PM

Ages 10-17 (Session 3) – Tue/Thur 8:25 PM – 9:00 PM – MUST CHECK IN AT 8:15 PM

COST: $85 per swimmer per swimmer, for Stroke Clinics (No refunds)

(2) TAAF Winter Games Swimming Championships – information below

The Winter games is completely different from summer games as far as FASST handles it. (1) No coaches attend, (2) you do not have to go to regionals and qualify, basically……(3) you sign up/pay and your in the meet (4) all entries (individual and relays are done by families online (see below).

Early registration: 10/7/21 – 12/15/21 $20 up to 3 individual events, $25/relay

Registration: 12/16/21 – 1/2/22 $25 up to 3 individual events, $30/relay

Late Registration: 1/3/22 – 1/7/22 $35 up to 3 individual events, $40/relay

NOTE: THE TAAF STATE OFFICE IS CLOSED OVER THE CHRISTMAS AND NEW YEAR HOLIDAYS. PLEASE DO NOT WAIT UNTIL THE LAST MINUTE TO REGISTER AS THERE MAY NOT BE ANYONE AVAILABLE TO ANSWER QUESTIONS.
